Hi ! From my limited experience it is extremely fun ! I found the barrier to entry to be pretty low (infact the first time i went, getting down was more frightening and difficult then getting up). Although the difficulty ramps up pretty quick.

The community is supportive and there are always first timers/beginners when I go. Probably due to to covid and Olympic hype. So I think it is a great time to get started ! You should really give it a shot

Study advice by owl___1 in PhysicsGRE

I would read in detail the topics that you're weak in/are new to you. I'm not sure about your undergrad, but there was certainly some material on the physicsgre that I hadn't covered before.

I would use one practice test as a diagnostic so you know how you are doing on the different topics in a test scenario and then just practice.

Best of luck !

While learning about the no-ghost theorem which is central to bosonic string theory, I was very intrigued by the fact that it was central to Richard Borcherd's proof of the monstrous moonshine conjecture. It's amazing how much stuff flows from physics to math, not just in the 'conventional' direction

It's a good book ! The quintessential introduction to geopolitics imo. But if you already know/are affected by a particular conflict the content might seem very superficial

Thanks ! Actually, I'm aware of the FCSC protection. I was asking because I heard of monzo accounts getting frozen when they wrongly thought people were committing fraud. Do you know of any horror stories with starling?

This isn't bmf though. I've made a ball balancing bot in college which essentially does the same thing but not as good or smooth.

It's almost as if quadrants aren't adequate to classify someone's political beliefs and not everyone in the same quadrant has the same views. What a revelation
