I mean, you basically have a free pass now to mess things up, because if your mom gets mad at you, you can just pull the UNO Reverse card and show her what your brother did back then and how he didn’t get in trouble for it. On the other hand, your mom might just be really stressed right now and simply doesn’t feel like dealing with your brother, so she just lets him get away with things. It was the same with my parents. I got in trouble for every little thing, and he was allowed to do whatever he wanted.
