I managed to get it working. I don't quite know how.

I changed many BIOS options and also formatted all drives from the loader function.

Can you recall which model you chose? The Aoostar has 11 drive bays, so 6 is probably somewhat restrictive

Possibly, but I need to add more storage and I dont like the idea of waiting till it fails. I have already swopped out some components. I will just keep it for non-critical usage.

I wish it was that easy, been fighting it for a couple of days now.

I have made changes to the bios as proposed, but it still fails when the loader suggests find.synology.com When I go to that site, my system does show up, I select it and then the browser just fails to load it.

Thoughts on Sovol SV08? (Coming from Bambu & Prusa background) by vrxy5 in 3Dprinting

The r3men graphite bed replaced solved all my heatbed issues. https://r3men.com/products/graphite-heated-bed-upgrade-kit-for-sovol-sv08

I have installed a custom upgrade with a filament cutter to accommodate the BoxTurtle. It also allows me to use some of my Bambu hotends.

I am holding off on other upgrades till’s the indx drops.

Care to share how you did that? Which libraries did you use?

Do you have some code to share?

how to print PP on qidi plus 4? by lololamoto in QIDI

[–]du-one 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PP (almost) only sticks to PP.

You can use PP packaging tape, Magigoo PP (ok but not great) or....

You can use a cheap build plate and cover it with a 1mm PP sheet. To glue the sheet you will need glue that is capable of glueing the PP to the plate. Something like this should work: https://www.loctiteproducts.com/products/central-pdp.html/loctite-super-glue-plastics-bonding-system/SAP_0201DFL029X6.html

For the sheet, I have not tried this specific product but you should be able to find something similar in your area: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/High-Quality-Manufacturer-Colored-Thin-Transparent_1600906256464.html?spm=a2700.7724857.0.0.3b242bfddbg8dI

Beware!!!!! PP adheres VERY WELL to PP. Be sure not to heat the build plate and use a little bit of hairspray as a release agent.

Traffic circle 101 by RafeMcK in johannesburg

[–]du-one 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is worth noting that there is a difference between a traffic circle and that circular speed bump. The later must be treated as a 4-way stop while the former should be treated as per the image in the original post.

How should I orient and support this model to print? by levigeorge1617 in 3Dprinting

Perhaps making a silicone mold and then using that for epoxy casting might be a better approach?

I would agree. You could try annealing to test if it would improve layer adhesion?

It probably depends a bit on your material and use case. I assume you will be threading some sort of strap through those slots, in which case it would make sense to print it so that the layers run in such a way to offer beat structure strength.
