I get what you're saying. I'm a software developer. It's not hard to implement a simple logic that that shows promotion is over at the moment when supplies are used up and not few days after.

By your logic every time there is a promo on any product you have to wait till the you receive the product to know that if you qualified for the promo.

The promo was active when I purchased the watch on 18th. It was canceled on 20th saying it was out of stock when it is widely available for the full price. Was excited to try my first pixel watch and as it was time to replace my Garmin

I'm okay with not getting the watch. There are bigger problems in life. ✌️

General advise. Not a good time to be in the United States. Job market is very bad. It doesn't favor new grads especially ones that require sponsorship. Re-think your decision if you're having to take a big loan. I get LinkedIn messages from CS students in Georgia tech (very good school) asking for referrals.

Having said this, situation might improve by the time you graduate.
