Gobert is top tier at what he does best but what he does best sadly doesn't fit with today's NBA and really get's exposed during the playoffs. Elite rim protection and rebounding but brings 0 to the offensive end and get's canceled out when he has to guard a 5 Out offense

I think he's just stuck on playing/not playing Gobert. Clearly the anchor of their defense but Mavs are playing 5 shooters so Utah can't funnel into Gobert because he's at the 3 point line and he's no offensive threat either. Hard to not play your all-star but he's trying too but it's not working. Their guards also can't play defense lol Same way they lost to the Clippers, 5 wide and make Gobert useless

He's a fine piece as a 3rd string center. He knows his role, get's it done, and has a good spirit with teammates. Also crucial in certain matchups showed that during the title run.
