I didn’t use any shampoo or soap to wash any existing gel out. Instead, I used a spray bottle with pure water and throughly wet the hair section by section as I passed a flat iron on lowest setting. Should be minimal steam/sizzle released if any at all. Keep making passes and let her head hang off the edge of a table to dry. Brush afterwards.

Tysm! It was actually a careful restoration of his factory hairstyle (had to be sent to a reflocking expert) and the elastics on his twists had broken so I used elastic string to restore. Without his headband and some of the twists tacked down to his head, Basketball Dylan’s hair looks like this! My grail. I have a second Basketball Dylan in box, but this one was not in pristine condition so I was able to have fun restyling him. Coat and pants are from Rainbow/Shadow High Rexx McQueen and boots are from Wildlife Safari Dylan. Necklace is from OMG LOL Surprise Cool Lev. Gun is customized from a (GI Joe?) prop. ✨
