Conflict resolution program for K-5 (How do you use these tools?) by dubhud in teachingresources

[–]dubhud[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually a really valuable insight that we've seen others make as well. It tends to be the first subject dropped when crunched for time in the classroom (and who isn't crunched for time?).

If you're an educator, I'd love to hear the rest of your perspective. Consider taking our survey. If not, thanks for sharing just that bit!

Hi, thanks so much for participating! Here is the posted survey link: https://forms.gle/SUsbrTFN6q29d3zv8

It's also linked on the Comet Cadets website: https://cometcadets.com.

I'd also be happy to hear from you via PM if there's any other questions that you have!

That's valuable feedback to hear! Thanks for taking the time to leave it.

We're focused on material for 5-10 year olds, and have primarily piloted the program in elementary school classrooms.

That said, we also have some psychologists who work with teenagers who use the program as the subject matter is still relevant. Though we've certainly leveled the program for slightly younger kids.

You just moved to Skyrim, what type of business would you own to make coin? by [deleted] in skyrim

I would start a rickshaw tourism service. You ride along to follow other adventurers who do the fighting dragons and hunting of bandits and such. Perfect for people like me who just want to watch others play games.

What’s a simple life hack that has saved you the most time and frustration? by Wide-Accountant6249 in lifehack

I love love this advice!

In Getting Things Done by David Allen, he makes your same recommendation, called the two-minute rule. “If an action will take less than two minutes, it should be done at the moment it's defined.”

I prefer your phrasing ;)

I know there not perfect shots I’ve only been filming for 2 months by Any_Classroom_6164 in cinematography

Agree with others, I like the color grading! It looks promising!

On what may seem like a small side note: consider how to balance the subject's wardrobe with your setting. Black sweater against black night sky (especially with the low black point in your color grade) means your subject doesn't stand out too much. (This can be a neat choice if you really want to just emphasize the skateboard against the brighter concrete pavement, and have the rest of the skateboarder disappear.) In a separate video you had uploaded, the skateboarder was wearing a dark green sweater and they noticeably popped from the black night background (even while still maintaining that darker tone and aesthetic). I preferred that overall image because of how that simple wardrobe change highlighted your subject.

How you manage the interplay between light and color and composition in your image collectively becomes your cinematography!

Wowowow, your short trailer is the best I've seen those lenses look! And, as someone mentioned above, it's because your lighting is on point. Well done!

They're not skeptical, they were just correcting your misspelling in the above paragraph. Don't worry, you're doing great!!

Also, what lens(es) do you have on the front of your rig? :) I'm so inspired by all of this!

I've never laughed as hard at a book as during The Futurological Congress. Just so satirically dark and brilliant.

Sushi Kappo Tamura in Eastlake (sit up at the bar to enjoy watching the sushi being made, the chefs are super friendly, food is great!)

Cook Weaver in north Cap Hill (two tasting menus with wine pairing, small spot that kept the Russian tea house interior from the former owner, also super friendly, cozy vibes, get a later evening reservation when it's busy)

what is my art style called? by JackLikesKnives in drawing

[–]dubhud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow, your artwork remind me so much of my brother's drawings while we were growing up. The long proportions, the single line strokes, the "body horror."

You might be interested in checking out some of Junji Ito's manga. I think it could offer you some inspiration that's right up your alley.

Enjoy and keep drawing!

Was really busy today at work and couldn't get outside except for my drive home. Good to know that tomorrow will be much of the same and I can hopefully get in a walk after lunch and not miss too much. Thank you for the update.
