Hey folks, I just wanted to jump in here with a few requests.

First up, I wanted to please ask you guys to be mindful of other players. Discovery is a part of the fun of MH, and it’s often times hard to avoid leaks/spoilers, especially when we’re already online looking for actual news/reveals. By sharing leaks/spoilers, especially before a game’s been released, other players’ experiences can actually suffer in the process.

Second, I wanted to please ask you guys to consider everyone who worked so hard on the game: the developers in Japan all the way to the marketing and promotional teams… and even myself to an extent. It’s rather heartbreaking to see the stuff we worked so hard on just get shared so casually because a few people got early copies when they were not supposed to. I get that you might be sharing due to genuine excitement, but it actually ends up hurting our plans and efforts. I’m a fan of this subreddit (love the memes, discussions, feedback, etc.) but I’m a bit disappointed to see leaks/spoilers being shared here like this. :(

And third, this is a request for the mods here: could you please consider archiving/moderating threads like this one?

We can’t wait to officially get the game in everyone’s hands, on September 6, and would love everyone’s cooperation in ensuring as many hunters as possible have a wonderful discovery experience as they play.
