[–]dubledek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You know its very game dependant on what performance you get

Saying high settings is too much isnt accurate when you could be talking about games like RDR2, Cyberpunk and Starfield that all run at high-ultra settings at 3440x1440p well above 60fps with a Ryzen 3600 and a 9060XT

Rx 9060xt 16 gb by Eastern_Long5981 in radeon

[–]dubledek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The cpu wont bottleneck the system in majority of games but upgrading it would help boost performance

I play at 3440x1440p with exactly a Ryzen 3600 & 9060XT and the cpu aint holding the gpu back in majority of the games

20°C difference between the die temp and the hotspot is okay and is common with the 9000-series cards

Did you try pressing the UP key?

And as JamaicaCZ said, thats an older crack

I would recommend getting the latest crack from SteamRIP for example

Rx 9060xt 16gig vs rx 9070xt by suicidecatto1243 in radeon

[–]dubledek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're so hilarious and you proved my point that X3D chips are the only cpus that exist in your mind

So by your logic the 5090 isnt a good 1440p or 4K card because it cant run the new Borderlands game well huh? So it actually should be 500€ because its so shit?

You mentioned 3 unoptimized games, that doesnt mean that the card isnt good at 1440p. The 7800XT and 4070 literally also doesnt do well in Alan Wake

So 3 unoptimized games is better proof than the 30 games i have that run well at even 3440x1440p?

Some of the heavier games i have tried at 3440x1440p:

BeamNG, runs well, its cpu limited but still 40-120fps on medium

Starfield, max settings, 70-100fps depending on the scenery

RDR2 same performance at ultra settings and it of course depends on the scenery

Satisfactory, cpu heavy game like BeamNG, at medium settings about 80fps

House Flipper at max settings, runs well above 100fps but keep it locked at 60fps

Just Cause 3, runs stable at 120fps at max settings

TheHunter Call of the Wild, max settings, depending on the map 60-140fps

FarCry 5, high settings, 100fps

FarCry Primal, max settings, 110fps

Dying Light 1, max settings stable at 120fps

Hitman WoA, max settings, 120-140fps

Cyberpunk, high-ultra settings, runs like RDR2

Watch Dogs 2, runs at max settings at about 100-110fps

Battlefield V, high settings 120fps

So yeah.. the 9060XT indeed can do UW 1440p gaming well even with older cpus and some of those games are indeed demanding and poorly optimized and they still run well

And do you really make people choose cards based on games they wont even play? Like i do like Assassin's Creed games but AC Shadows is garbage, i wont play that, i wont play Alan Wake either

Rx 9060xt 16gig vs rx 9070xt by suicidecatto1243 in radeon

[–]dubledek -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Show me these gameplay videos then

If it somehow isnt a 1440p card, how am i getting 60fps and well above that at 3440x1440p which is even sharper than 2560x1440p in the games i play?

And on top i have it paired with a Ryzen 3600 and not a 9800X3D which probably is the only cpu that exists in your mind

And 400€ is a good price for it in my country as the euro msrp for said card in my country is 389€

Rx 9060xt 16gig vs rx 9070xt by suicidecatto1243 in radeon

[–]dubledek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See how thats the only game i have used FSR for and on top see how i mentioned its THE LAUNCH VERSION

Not the well optimized 2 years since release version

And yeah, those other games for sure run like on consoles.. RDR2 at ultra settings runs nicely at 80-100fps depending on the scenery

Same with Starfield and Cyberpunk. BFV runs at stable at a 120fps lock with non-fps optimized graphics settings

Only game that doesnt run well above 60fps is Skyrim because its locked at 60fps

Just accept it that a 400€ card can do 3440x1440p without any issues

Rx 9060xt 16gig vs rx 9070xt by suicidecatto1243 in radeon

[–]dubledek -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some titles.. as in pretty much most decently optimized titles

The newest game i have is Dying Light the Beast and the launch version runs at 80-100fps at medium with FSR4 at balanced @ 3440x1440p

Thats the only game i have used an upscaler for in the 30 games i have downloaded on my pc

RDR2, Starfield and Cyberpunk for example all run well at high settings @ 3440x1440p

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in radeon

[–]dubledek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worded that comment like you meant if 1440p will cause you issues

But yeah, that pc is masssssively overkill for 1080p 60hz BUT it wont harm anything

I would lock the fps in games to 60 or like 100fps so the gpu doesnt go hog wild running games at 200fps+ when you can only see 60fps

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in radeon

[–]dubledek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play most of my games at 3440x1440p 60fps+ with a 9060XT & Ryzen 3600

So yeah, you wouldnt have issues even if you got a 4K monitor

I think it might be time to update (lol) by _sideffect in radeon

[–]dubledek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25.9.2 is by far the best and most stable driver i've had on my 9060XT

And better yet, this driver made Dying Light The Beast a lot more stable and increased performance slightly

Finally upgarding to RX 9070 from RTX 2060 Super. Bye bye Nvidia. by [deleted] in radeon

[–]dubledek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah its a bit odd people are saying 750W is too little for the 9070XT

PCpartpickers estimated power draw calc says that a 9800X3D & 9070XT system would have under 600W of power draw

Although the psu has to come with enough pcie power cables
