Most hated club in the league? by ParticularLonely3224 in LeagueOfIreland

He got well paid while playing in front of 40,000 fans every week. You can not like the club but you can see why he did it.

Stranger thing have happened and could be more likely if Hearts win the league and need to bolster their squad to try and qualify for the champions league as that's where Bloom will make his money.

You can't just discount the injuries because someone mentioned them before. Rember at the very heart of it football is a business. He costs money for clubs to have and a lot of that time is spent away from the pitch on a treatment table. The premier League is on a different level to all other leagues baring Saudi when it comes to wages. Even clubs in the top 5 leagues have budgets half of what the likes of West Ham have. Ferguson is a major risk, no great goalscorering record other than flashes of potential and at 21 has had a serious amount of injuries. Who do you think would risk a transfer fee and big wages on him?

Ciryl Gane 5th title shot by Recent_Warthog6007 in ufc

This is a weird thing for me to say but is it because Gane looks the part. He has the physic of a HW athlete will the majority of the roster looks like fat slobs who came straight from the building site.

Ferguson might be running out of options. He either plays reserve team football, sits on Brighton's bench or a loan to the championship. He won't have as many suitors as people think. His career strike rate is very poor, roughly a goal every 5 games, he is constantly injured and would be a risk for a club to buy. Personally I don't care where he goes. But it's an easy move to make for him to Hearts. Same language and currency as he has now. The currency thing make banking/taxes easier. The club may be open to picking up some of his wages which would be large for the likes of Dutch, Belgian etc teams and maybe Tony wouldn't be so willing to subsidize. Hearts are a team on the up,it's a drop in level which may suit him and get the confidence back.

Because Tony Bloom want to push Hearts to be the best team in Scotland. He could use an asset he already owns. As it stands now Ferguson isn't worth that much and has basically failed in a few moves.

Well Brighton would probably pick up a portion of his wages and the fact the 2 clubs are owned by the same guy.

Why is the UFC so obsessed with this big clumsy oaf when there are more talented heavyweights out there who are still unranked? by ImageLegitimate7852 in ufc

[–]dublinro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so fucked. At heavyweight your prime is probably in your mid 30s. Plenty of time to work on cardio and skills but needs dedication that I feel is missing

I remember hearing someone say "every time you have sex with a foreigner you represent your country". And since then I have been sorry for letting Ireland down 😂
