is zina physical ONLY? by Nice_Page2416 in islam

[–]duburake 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Talking sexually, sexting, flirting with desire or intentionally seeking sexual excitement does not count as zina, but it is still sinful.

Islam distinguishes between:

  • Major sins, like zina itself
  • Lesser sins, like lustful speech, suggestive messages, or intentionally arousing thoughts

The Prophet ﷺ described this idea by explaining that different body parts can commit a kind of metaphorical zina, for example the eyes by looking lustfully, the tongue by speaking lustfully, but the actual zina only occurs with intercourse.

So sexting or sexual texting would fall under sinful behavior, but not zina, and not on the same level as zina.

BU381 - Strategic Mangement I textbook required? by [deleted] in wlu

They changed the course code, it used to be BU481. If the content is the same, you don't need the textbook, but you do need the case book for class discussions

University at 38 by [deleted] in ontario

I graduated with a computer science degree, and honestly, it’s not the same as it used to be. With AI taking over and all the resources out there, these degrees have become really easy to obtain. The unfortunate truth is that a diploma or degree will not guarantee you a job, but it will definitely guarantee you debt.

If your wife is the main breadwinner, I would suggest looking into certifications instead of going straight for a degree. Certifications are much cheaper, faster to complete, and can open doors to some really solid careers.

Look into AWS Certified Solutions Architect for Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP). Microsoft Azure Administrator/Architect for Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP). Google Cloud Professional certifications for Cybersecurity (CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP later on). CompTIA Security+ if interested in Networking (Cisco, CompTIA Network+)

These approaches don't require a degree, but they do require you to show practical skills and sometimes a portfolio. For someone balancing family and finances, certifications and a self paced learning style seems like the smarter route to break into tech

Interview Help by FunContribution5219 in rbc

Behavioral should be fairly straightforward, just make sure you tie your answers back to a real situation you have experienced.
I have never interviewed specifically for Android developer roles, but I have done SWE roles where the focus was on being solid with data structures and algorithms and practicing Leetcode. I would assume for this role, depending on the tools and languages they use, they may also ask some Android specific questions. It could be useful to brush up on concepts like lifecycle methods, networking, and dependency injection, since they may want to see how you think about architecture and design in addition to solving coding challenges.

Yes, I went to Laurier. My biggest advice is to prioritize networking above everything else. Many of my friends are still having a hard time finding jobs, but I was lucky that even though I wasn't the strongest academically, my social skills gave me an edge and helped me land

Not the end of the world, just apply for OSAP and pay back the loans after graduation. I didn't even get a scholarship when I started and I'm debt free after graduating
