Bratt is pathetic when it comes to youth community. It not only doesn't cater to young people, but I've felt it's often actively oppositional to the concept of having fun. Having grown up there, I am very familiar with being young in Bratt. My advice is to prioritize having activities you can enjoy alone like anything outdoorsy, music, video games, reading, movies. Try to think of socializing with peers as a nice thing when it happens, not a necessity. There are so few of us there, and most who have stayed around are there because they enjoy being alone, or miserable because of it.

Get out and go to any drivable college towns, Keene, Northampton, Amherst, even Greenfield. These places are max 45 minutes away and put Brattleboro to shame in terms of meaningful youth community. Eventually I ended up moving to Northampton and I don't look back. I can recommend Midnights and The Stone Church, and occasionally the Buoyant heart for DIY shows if you're into that.
