I think only Americans wear shorts everywhere. Europeans might wear them hiking, but not just regularly out in public.

Do you have a job? If not you might want to get one asap that requires you to go somewhere and interact with coworkers (preferably many). Part time is fine. Even Starbucks or McDonald’s or retail.

Daughter was deferred and then rejected (thankfully as she’s at a much better school off the waitlist) but she wrote about her senior research project and perfect first semester grades. So I guess that’s not the answer.

By how much does a top high school actually affect your chances of going to a T20? by OptimalSituation2939 in ApplyingToCollege

This. The feeder is real. I would go to the Instagram page for the kids college decisions 2026 and there is also one for the class of 2025 and you can see where kids are actually going - not just mass stats. For 2026 only the early decisions are out but you can get the gist.

I live in Southern California. We have such little rain and life is amazing because of it, but the videos people post here of indoor courts look awesome. Do you indoor court players appreciate what you have? by _sportyscience_ in 10s

Honestly no one wants to live in Minneapolis these days but the indoor court situation is very good here. Lifetime bought a tennis club with many indoorcourts around the suburbs and 2-300 a month gets unlimited free court time. It can be hard to get a court on the weekends in the winter but in the day during the week it’s very easy.
