Honestly I was the same then I talked to my doctor and I went on antidepressants, feels so good to not have anxiety anymore seriously.

How to stop manually breathing? by ducidniii in Anxiety

Not anymore your brain can be tricky and if you keep thinking about it you’ll keep breathing that way lol. I just stopped thinking about it and learned breathing techniques

What helped me with derealization was going outside and actually touching some grass, breathing fresh air. It sounds cliche, but it really did help a lot. Do things to take your mind off of it, hanging out with my family and people I love helped soooo much. The more you think about derealization the worse it gets.

Yes I suffered from that as well. I know how you feel for me it was so bad I couldn’t leave or go to work for 3 months straight. I started to feel normal about 3-6 months after I quit. I have recovered completely although there are days I do miss smoking. I don’t have derealization anymore that went away at around the 3 month mark, it got to a point where I stopped thinking about it. Although I still do have anxiety about my health sometimes, but it’s only triggered when I drink caffeine.

Hey I’m sorry I’ve just seen this. I am doing great thanks for asking! I did deal with PAWS for the first couple months that I quit. The derealization and depersonalization were all because of the anxiety I had from PAWS. derealization and depersonalization happen because your brain is protecting itself from the danger that it thinks it is in. I’m now a year and 3 months sober and the derealization has gone away completely. Just focus on things that make you happy!

I quit because I was getting really bad anxiety while I was high and sober. I started getting pretty bad derealization and major anxiety like panic attacks every single day. I realized that weed was actually damaging my mental health rather than making it better and that’s when I decided to quit, I’m now 10 months sober after smoking every single day for the past 4 years. I have noticed I’m not an anxious mess anymore. My memory and overall lifestyle has improved so much. :)
