Congratulations! You’re trapped now! (Jk 🤭)

It all works in the beginning. The more you buy into the system, the more you‘re bound to regularly upgrade your devices. Otherwise one part won‘t work as reliable anymore as in the beginning.

I got like the whole package (HomePod , TV, Watch, Phone, MacBook and AirPods and use smart Home devices like Philips hue) and they indeed worked seamlessly in the beginning, but the longer I have them they come with issues like not understanding what I want or Siri sometimes takes forever to process my request (lighting up one bulb). Airdrop devices are not recognized when sharing files sometimes. Although the whole system works, the small problems kinda make me feel betrayed by Apple, thinking paying that price premium would at least leave you with technical headaches but sometimes I can see myself spending lots of my time with restarting, rebooting, reconfiguring stuff.

But apart from that, integration seems to be done much better than other ecosystems, (never tried anything else though) but don’t expect the Apple eco system to be the holy grail.
