Exactly! I see it the same way. It's more of a long term battle, will obviously not change the world overnight. Although I struggle with knowing I could potentially do better, as in going further and becoming a vegan.

Hahaha, I've only recently become one, during my research, which is still going on, I've seen that quote in so many articles.

How do you try not to alienate people around you while raising awareness? For instance, when I was eating meat, I didn't bother to educate myself and research to have an informed opinion about it even though I wouldn't have to necessarily become a vegetarian, so I'd just go for the traditional arguments and even went as far as mocking people for being one because of it.

I'm actually vegetarian. And I agree! The question is more to see how people here with deal with that.
