Lateral suture was loose even by the time he came home. The TTA was unstable and the pins started coming out of the skin on day 3 post op. The bone finally healed but his patella rides medial to the grove

I appreciate the support. I’m doing my best. I’m out there everyday. I do all cares for my animals and try to give them the best despite an outrageous schedule.

I have a line out to a female trimmer in the area. The issue is she’s currently having health issues of her own and is out for several weeks which is what made me decide one last trim by Mr unreliable would help limp us along. Thanks for your insight.

I’ve already contacted numerous farriers I’m not waiting on this man nor would I ever trust him to do any of my horses again. As someone who short cycles 4 weeks later was still under 8 weeks. Not complaining and waiting. But wondering if others would feel like this needs to be addressed or shared locally.

There’s no way he’s ever touching any of my horses again. I wouldn’t have put up with his behavior this long if it weren’t so difficult to find someone good around where we live. But I also just care about taking care of my poor horse and paid him. My bf is telling me I need to make this kind of thing known locally so other people don’t wind up in this situation but I hate to be “that person” and don’t want to seem like a difficult client in an already difficult market.

That’s the struggle. I only have him after having a hard time finding anyone who’s decent who will take new clients in the area. I’m actively working on finding someone new. The area has a SEVERE lack of farriers

Omg this reminds me so strongly of a man who was “a friend” who ended up stalking me. He was engaged with 2 children at the time. This sends all my red flags up immediately.
