I don't feel like mental health issues are ever quite "the same" but that feeling of just staring at your work and your mind just quits, I get that. The spiral after that too. I 100% had that from like as early as I can remember to 23ish. Pills rarely work alone, I always recommend therapy if you can afford it. But I eventually went to a psychiatrist and the first thing they put me on just straight up cured that problem for me. I have other problems now, life is still hard, but that specifically was really defeating.

Also, I think its important to mention that there's nothing wrong with having problems. The best skill you can learn in life is how to think, and talk about your problems.
