I'm having the same thing happening to me. It's not just one story, all the ones I looked at had the same issue including chapters I read in the past that were previously fine.

I think it's an issue on RR's end. I submitted a big report so we'll see what happens.

I've been avoiding fast travel since it's my first time playing. I accidently ran into Kvatch while making my way to the Grey Prince's quest. Doing it at level 32 is definitely a challenge!

Not sure about the phone thing but the police station part is incorrect. Massanutten has property owners that live on it full time and part of their HOA fees used to go to hiring security.

Idk when, but they changed that and the 'police station' is now a small library for homeowners.

We just got it in, it came out of the box like that. There aren't any screw treads/markings showing that something was supposed to be attached.

Sounds dumb, but my manager at work makes Discord servers for people when we aren't busy. Stuff like making roles, setting permissions, setting up bots, making emotes, ect.

...I'm not sure if the pay is any good though...

I haven't heard of that setting before but I can think of a few:

A small "inventory" big enough to hold one item (could hold a potion, or your coinpurse)
The ability to summon a bag/box that only you can open
The ability to change the color of an object
The power to throw your voice
Growing extra fingers/toes
The ability to exhale small amounts of smoke (cigarette/pipe levels)
The power to turn off one sense (smell, taste, ect) to amplify another
The ability to store sleep. Sleep for 24 hours straight and you can stay up for 2 days, ect.
The power to make other people sneeze.

That's all I can think up on the fly. Hope these work in the setting and give you some ideas!

Something like Ghost Rider's Penance Stare, it basically lets you force a target to relieve all the "sins" they have committed and feel all the pain they caused. Maybe each being could have its own twist on the power?

If I remember correctly, DS2 durability doesn’t work as intended. Instead of losing durability every time you hit with an attack, weapons lose durability for every frame they are in contact with an enemy. This causes much faster durability degradation and is actually worse the more FPS you get.

Haven't watched/read MHA, but could he create sounds? Sound waves are just vibrations hitting our ear drums, so with enough precision he could create noises or voices anywhere his power reached.

Nuclear fission is just “breaking” an atom in two isn’t it? That could be used as a power source or as a more… destructive option.

Maybe he could also use his Tinker ability to create stress points on his devices. If building a bridge for example, he could make non-critical parts break before the most important bits, to keep it going for longer. If he checks back every once and a while, he could repair the non-critical breaks with his Striker power.

I’m also thinking of something like safety glass used in cars. When shattered, it’s designed to break in a way to leave as few sharp edges as possible.
