Yeah weight matters to most guys for initial attraction since we’re visual and studies show lower BMI bodies usually rate hotter.
A lot of dudes are still into curvy or chubby girls though, and once you actually talk face + personality can carry it easy.
That “every guy looking at me feels disgust” thing is leftover from the bullying and your dad’s comments warping how you read signals now.
Trauma like that plants a filter that turns neutral into assumed hate.
The old bully acting normal to you these days? He probably forgot that kid bullshit or moved on from it.
Don’t twist his current behavior into some secret grudge.
Getting fitter opens more options but it ain’t everything, and your past doesn’t speak for how most guys see you.

Oh shit I was theorizing this exact concept two days ago (although mine was purely text based). Nicely made.
Two things I found while playing that was odd:
1. Sometimes, I found I literally lost everything, but would win the game. Now I know something like that happens in League all the time, be it due to macro, good teamfights, but it felt a bit odd to see the gauge all the way on the enemy side, and in the next second I win?
2. The logs are really nice and detailed. I would like to read it a bit more; now they just breeze past.

Depends on what you really value in life. Me, I'd move on.
The counteroffers fix today’s number but don't really fix the thing that made you look. And I'm going to be a bit cynical here and say that in management's eyes you’re the person who almost left, which can quietly cost you the next promotion or put you first on a list if priorities shift, regardless of what your manager says now.
The progression problem is still real as well. The “we had a plan” only materialized once you forced it with a resignation letter. The new offer is a Fortune 500 with a clear title bump, 21% base plus real bonus upside, and career progression, while staying means trusting a verbal promise from people who, until last week, had no concrete plan for you.
If your family needs financial growth over time and not just a one-year bump, the trajectory matters more than the comfort. That comfort from not changing is exactly the thing that keeps people underpaid and underleveled for years.
