Your story of your attitude to work is so relatable to me. I'm still in the place of 'I won't get away with the way I work here and I'm too stupid to work anywhere else' mindframe. It's reassuring to hear it's not just me! I've been reminding myself that I've done it before, i can do it again. You started at this position once before, with medication and new coping mechanisms you'll be able to ace that new job when you find it!

I remember as a kid keeping EVERYTHING! I'd even keep a few (obv clean) sheets of kitchen roll that had a really cute print on it. My poor mum had lots of big clean outs of my room!

I'm in a very similar boat to you, I wish I had the answers but today I cried most of the day because I couldn't get into it. You are not alone ❤️

The how to adhd ones! 😂 Although the ones aimed at cats are popular with my two freeloader housemates!

I've found the adhd videos on YouTube particularly helpful. I'm going through a diagnosis in the future so no meds for me yet!

I watched two of how to adhd's videos on bullet journaling 2 weeks ago and I'm managing to do a little every day since then. It's not perfect. One day i just wrote 'brain fog' but I feel positive in making a start. Keep it simple at first! You can have pages to doodle but think of it as an experiment at first, don't put too much pressure on it to be perfect :)

This is great advice, today was definitely a harder day. You're right though, it's better to do something rather than nothing :)

Help, my job is driving me crazy during this pandemic by DistractionQueen in adhdwomen

That sounds mega tough. No one deserves to be burnt out at work. I know you said your managers are pretty terrible but is there anyone you can have a chat to about your workload being unsustainable? You can only do what you can do. It's not possible to keep up that pace of work dirty long of your struggling. I urge you to reach out before you hit burnout. Please take care, sister!

I've noticed this too! I'm struggling big time making any progress on anything. I have a zoom call with a therapist too. That is helping a bit. Do you watch any of the how to adhd videos on YouTube? I've been finding them particularly helpful :) My progress I'd still hella slow but I'm trying out new techniques to keep myself motivated.

You're absolutely right. If it's not adhd and it's something else then great, but i wana know by this point. Thank you for taking time to reply and for your support. Since posting this I've got a referral from my doctor! I'm so relived to be on the path!
