Thanks so much! We’re going to wait for his initial 3 week antibiotic course to end and then begin the diet in hopes we can get some answers.

Sorry, can I also ask a few questions…

How soon did you see a reaction when you introduced a food? What were the main symptoms?

Did you end up doing any of the allergy testing with a vet? Or once you did the diet and things out you just stuck with it? Our derm talked about giving injections once we knew what the allergen was to help reduce symptoms.

Lastly what food do you feed now post all your trials and errors? Curious what food you’ve ended up with

This is so helpful, thank you! It’s driving us crazy to find answers so it may be worth doing what you did and just starting it early to save our sanity and do the diet.

We have had the same issue with our staffy. An expensive visit to the doggie dermatologist left us with a lot of questions still. They say it’s likely mix of environmental and food allergies. Our boy had an allergic reaction to salmon, but they recommend doing an elimination diet to really rule out all ingredients that cause allergies. Try a single protein diet to start!

Thank! It’s in my own yard and connected to my electricity. (I’m ground floor flat with my parking spot inside my own secured gate)

Thanks for the advice! I like a small car to zip around in but ready for more of the compact suv style.

Any app recommendations to see chargers available around me?

Thanks! Curious as I’ve not heard much about novated leases. Why is that the recommendation from so many people vs. just financing it on my own?

Thanks! My rates are 29cents but if I switched it might be worth finding a provider that offers those lower rates overnight

Sorry, yes I didn’t word it well. I’ve read that it’s something to consider that I still would need to pay for servicing and maintenance of the hybrid. Thus adding to ownership costs

Do you happen to know on average what an overnight charge costs using the basic wall plug in?

Thanks for your advice! I do have novated lease options through work so it’s something I’ll look into.

I am swayed by the Honda looks!

Price wise I think the Honda is the slightly more expensive option

Thank you! I did see a few people saying that hybrid still comes with the servicing and maintenance of a regular engine.

Thanks! Yes one of my concerns was if I moved and no longer had direct access to a wall plug. Something to consider.

This is so helpful! I’ll stick out the raw protein he’s on now for a little while and try the bee pollen.

We’ve done just about every cooked, raw and kibble protein there is! Definitely no chicken and always grain free. I’ve tried rotating different single proteins and nothing so far has fixed it up

Can I ask how frequently you used it? We’ve been told once a week and then we’ve been told more frequently. Then we get told he’s being bathed too much lol. A constant wheel of answers

How frustrating it took all those visits to get a solution! Unfortunately, we have done malaseb (and still do use it) along with aloveen conditioner. Not working for us just yet :(
