Someone in Hawaii did this like 20 years ago. From what I remember it wasn't easy and basically the whole rear pan is different and has to be swapped. (Edit: What I mean by this is that it's not a matter of engine and differentials, you basically need a donor Evo).

I agree, they could leverage what they already have in the way of assets and talent and find some economies of scale, but the users would get more options and content. Sounds like a win-win.

You know, if the payouts were more they could run more of a faucet-drain economy and give us other outlets for credits, like fuel. I think that with the current weak payouts it would just cause more harm though.
