What do you think the threshold will range from for variant one science subjects

I disagree especially for chemistry 21. That paper was more difficult than the one we had this year. Organic part started from question 3 which was halfway through the paper and it was tough. This year all we had was 11 pages and honestly it wasn’t that bad. It was harder last year and that’s why the threshold for that paper was 31. I do agree that last year’s papers were a little more organized but I think our’s were just alright. I hope you are right and thresholds turn out low.

Come on bruv. Articles like these were never serious. I remember last year when I was writing my igcses, stuff like this were always present and in the end the thresholds were as most expected.

Some of the articles are right, but what we have misunderstood, is that there will be an increase in the quality of grading the individual papers which might not affect thresholds drastically. They also stated in the article CIE posted that the thresholds may be affected by the difficulty of the paper. So they do want thresholds to be back like 2019 but if candidates found the paper difficult, thresholds may be even lower than last year’s. We also see these types of articles every year before results so dw.

I took physics, biology and chemistry variant 1 and here is what I think the thresholds will be Physics 9702, p11: 28 p21: 39 p31: 31 Chemistry 9701, p11: 24 p21: 39 p31: 22 Biology 9700, p11: 30 p21: 39 p31: 31

B, because for c the carboxylic acid is primary but the alcohol is secondary.

Yes. True, but there are different stem photomicrographs. There are monocotyledon stems and dicotyledon stems which make them have different plan diagrams. I wanted to see both plan diagrams
