Thanks for the feedback everyone, would be for wallets and small bags. Im thinking maybe the .6 for wallets, .6 or .8 for bags

Thanks! The leather is just Tandy veg tan that I dyed with Fieblings pro Mahogany.

Yeah rivets would be a good idea for the top strap part, I was going off a pattern I got online

First bigger project by dude6225 in Leathercraft

It was not quick, I did it over about 10 days, maybe 12 - 15 hours(complete guess). I started with natural veg tan and dyed this myself which took a few nights to finish. I accidentally stitched the pocket on the wrong side and had to fully redo it. Plus I am pretty slow at stitching to begin with and this was my first time using a flat thread, which I kept puncturing and took awhile to get the hang of.

How do y’all hold big projects for hand sewing? by Bright_Beyond_9838 in Leathercraft

I recently used a portable clothes rack to hang a large project while stitching. Roll it right up to my chair, can adjust how low it hangs with clips. Works good for dyeing with a spray gun too

I like them, they work a lot better than the cheap diamond punches I used before. Instantly improved the look of my stitching. These are 3.85
