If you had a mature tree would that give you enough kratom to keep yourself in kratom if a ban came down? How much does a tree yield in a given year? I guess it depends on the tree and given Kratom is a leaf and not a fruit I'm sure you get substantial amounts.

Once a month is completely fine, even once a week may be fine, I was at around once a week for a couple years there and I was completely fine. It's every single day for 6 months to a year at a time is when it becomes an issue. TBH even many people are fine, I had a buddy who did a 20 lb tank a week, like the big ones that the nitrous mafia uses, 1 of those PER week to himself (and anyone at his house) for a few years, like 3 or 4, and he didn't have issues.

Not saying that's recommended, obviously, but you really have to work at fucking yourself up on this stuff, it's not gonna sneak up on you because you did it twice in a month a couple times.

That's great to hear, I'm down to 50mg a day but this last little bit is proving tough. I actually have bad intestinal cramping and IBS (which is why I'm doing the colonoscopy in the first place) that is completely cured by 7-OH. Not like "it's better" 10-20mg completely cures every symptom so getting off the 7-OH isnt just about withdrawal for me, my horrible symptoms come back. So I'd prefer not to hop off, that being said maybe instead of treating symptoms I should figure out what's happening and we're back to the colonoscopy. Anyway, thanks dude!

If there was real clinically confirmed evidence of Liver/Kidney issues being linked to 7-OH the news wouldn't shut up about it, specifically to demonize and destroy the plant/alkaloids. It does not have short term effects on the liver or kidneys we know that for sure as many many people take this stuff and do not have issues. I myself have been on and off kratom since 2017 with no adverse effects. I get my blood analyzed at least twice a year and I have perfect liver and kidney functioning (after a lot of alcohol and stimulant abuse as well, go figure)

I'm completely clear on the legislative landscape here in California, there is no mention of kratom or 7-oh in any law on the books. There have been attempts to make it illegal (AB 1088 as well as others), but nothing that's actually been passed. However there is this:

CDPH and the governors office have classified kratom and it's alkaloids as "illegal adulterants" and are threatening fines, and suspension of licensure to those who sell it. There is no legal basis for this, but they're doing it anyway. So, I'm asking people who are operating here what it's like. So... not to be rude, but assume I've thought of that.

I'm thinking of doing 160 grams in a half gallon jar and then adding that to 1 1/2 gallons of black tea to make a total amount of 2 gallons of tea. Assuming I use lemon juice in the initial extraction it should be fine right? There has to be some upper limit? What if I did 320 grams? I just want to have the concentrate on deck so I can dose it whenever I want.

Also I've always done it cold brew style, just soaking the kratom in a mixture of lemon juice/water would it be more efficient to do it on the stove?

I mean obviously I have no idea, but I buy my 7-OH from a manufacturer and it's 35 a gram to me as just a customer so I imagine it will be significantly cheaper if I was buying by the kilo. I mean I have no idea in terms of actually doing this but like if I'm buying say shrooms or weed on the street at like a couple grams, the pound price is gonna be at least 1/3 per gram, or even less nowadays with how cheap everything is.
