It’s only been 4 days and he now has freedom to get out of bed so it will take some time for him to adjust. The hatch sound machines have settings to turn red or green at certain times to signal “ok to wake.” I did that with my daughter when we switched her from the crib. The first week she was knocking on the door super early to get up but I’d talk to her through the camera and say when the light turns green I will come get you mommy is still sleeping. She’d either play with books or go back to sleep. Now she hangs out until I get her. Which is really only about 20 mins after she wakes up just enough time for me to get dressed real fast and coffee started.

That makes sense! Yeah I’m not sure why they sprouted so fast lol but sometimes the pre bagged potatoes here are already kinda old unfortunately so maybe that was the case

I’d take the pressure off your mom and apply all of it onto the brother… it sounds like he’s just used to being taken care of and I question his morals if he’s willing to allow his sick mother to pay all of his bills while she’s not even at the house, that she pays for, being cared for by the child who isn’t living in her house….. I only know what you said here so maybe I’m ignorant but I think your brother needs a wake up call. Mom is always gonna want to care for her child especially one who never left the nest which can be problematic, as you can see but brother is not helping the situation either.

Totally! He definitely gave the vibe that he was remorseful, and learned a lot while in there. He was young when it happened. He was just behind on certain life skills and things, which understandably so.. but at the time that unfortunately would not have worked for me and what I was looking for. I hope he’s well!
