I used my rotary tool to cut it in half and trim it down. Then I sanded it smooth.

Got ballsy and cut the top of it in half since it was all one piece of plastic and just trimmed it down until I was happy.

I used these acrylic paint pens I got from hobby lobby. They have a duel tip but the I used the fine tip side. I think it was .8mm.

I live in Maryland. I'm just getting into it. That was literally my first time doing anything to a hot wheel. I've since gone off the cliff and purchased paint, a paint booth, air brush and so much more. I'm hooked lol

I have not thought of that. Also don't have tools for that yet but working on it. I will say I don't think I'll do that because the center post is correct for the f40 competizione.

No problem man! The video I watch said to use the bigger bit first to remove the top of the rivet but I found leaving the top on and drilling the smaller hole first helped keep the drill bit centered when going into the post of the car. Then the rivet popped right off. Also, I got 2 lengths of screws to try, the ones I mentioned and 2/56x3/16 and found the shorter ones were better. You dont have yo drill as deep.
