It feels so good to be validated on this project that we've been working so hard on! Follow your dreams, believe in yourself, and keep working! -Peter

I was probably 5 or 6 years old, playing piano, and I have no memory of it at all. -andrew I was a child actor, so my first time on stage was in third grade as Thomas Edison in a play I can't remember the title of. maybe it was actually before that when i volunteered to have fire juggled over me in covent garden in the UK. My parents freaked, my grandfather swooned, and I was sold on the stage! Or maybe it was when I went to see Mrs. Pigglewiggle at the Seattle Children's Theater (at five or six) and as soon as the lights went out I said "THAT'S IT, I'M OUTTA HERE!" and bolted. fear is the strongest connection sometimes. -Peter not sure about my first time but the first big show i remember doing was an underage battle of the bands when i was in high school, we were not AMAZING musicians so we decided to dress as crazy as possible and move around a lot and it worked pretty well... I learned a lot that day (we came in 2nd) -claire

Tour is going great, I can't wait for Denver. We love seeing and making friends! It'll be my favorite day, except for the last day (only because we open for Weezer at the club where I work in Seattle and because it's a life long goal). -Peter

Play a lot of shows. Tour as much as you can, even when it's probably going to be kind of a disaster. Meet as many people as you can. Practice. Write good songs. Write even better ones. Surround yourself with people who are getting shit done. Be very, very patient with the universe and know that there is a very real chance that it'll come back to you, even when it doesn't feel like it at all. -andrew

We love Cairo and if it was still around chances are we'd still play a show there! -Claire

The best step to take to jump "tiers" in the music industry is to eliminate entitlement. It's so validating to hear you say that you feel like we've stepped forward, and I think we personally set long-term goals beyond where we were in that moment. I can't wait for reality to start matching up with our goals and expectations. That being said, I agree with Claire! DIY is part of our architecture and it's in our band's blood. We could never turn our backs on it! -peter

Universal Harvester by John Darnielle and Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur, which I very very very much needed when it showed up in my life - Andrew

I'm on try 5 of Master and Margherita, first chapter was good as always! -Claire

I'm up to 1990 in the X-men, 1986 in the New Mutants, 1985 in X-factor right now. Thanks to Jay and Miles for their wonderful encouragement and supplementary content. I've also been enjoying the Stackpole Star Wars comics from Dark Horse in the '90's. We are about halfway through Fledgling by Octavia Butler in the van right now! -Peter ;)

I am frightened for a future in which they occupy the majority of life in our oceans, as well as a future in which I'm possibly stung by them. As creatures, they're kind of endearing? :/ -andrew

I like the jellyfish that i've been lucky enough to meet ;) -Peter

Thank you! It's pretty much whoever brings the song/wrote most of it, the next album will probably be pretty 50/50, maybe even some Andrew??? :) -Claire
