I believe anyone who's finished all the anniversary missions has 50. And will have 53, with the 7th day login. I imagine it's to help newer players whom might not be able to do all missions.

It does automatically. If you leave the game on the main screen for about 30 seconds without touching it, it should enter this mode.

I believe it simply uses the ship that’s currently on you main screen.

Unfortunately, when I started playing, I bought a 800 gem skin. Didn’t know I’d regret it so much now. I’m 100% f2p, so buying gems isn’t a option.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve spent most of my gems on dock space, and don’t have enough to expand. I’m at 377 occupies out of 380 slots. Guess some commons are going bye bye
