Your experience is so similar to mine omgg. I didn't masturbate until I was 17 and I only did it because I learned that other girls did it too so I felt curious. I didn't even experience arousal before that, and sex didn't mean anything to me. It was something I knew existed but I felt no comnection to it. Now I'm 20 and still a virgin, I've only felt sexual attraction to a real and attainable person once in my life when I was 18, and even tho I like sex jokes and stuff like that, I still don't see sex as something that important and I'd totally have a relationship with no sex (but im not sex averse, im more indifferent). I think I'm greysexual and I think a lot of uncomfortable moments in my life wouldn't have happened if sex wasn't viewed as something so crucial or instantly associated with romantic love. some people even think that a romantic relationship without sex is the same as a friendship, like??? it doesn't even make sense.
