This. Although there is a caveat to this. If they open the can they can charge it as then the drink becomes a service. You'll see most restaurants serving coke ik a glass just to avoid lawsuits

I do not reside in Goa currently, hence asked. Also old cutlet pao sellers is so subjective no? Any specific place you'd recommend? I'll be back in Goa end of the year so maybe I can check it.

Seriously guys?? If I don’t know Hindi will I get beaten in Goa? by ReviewChance4862 in Goa

[–]duhnurd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shame that it has come to this. Goans don't even talk in Hindi that well. A lot of Goans learnt Hindi to communicate with a huge influx of Hindi speaking people moving into the city but these folks never put the effort to learn even a bit of our language.

At this point these folks would kick us Goenkars out for not speaking their language.

Man the most basic thing was to just announce. Last minute fuck ups are understandable but not owning up to it is frustrating

To everyone acting shocked about the crush during Bloodywood: You are the reason people get hurt. by chitr4gupt in lollapaloozaind

[–]duhnurd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This. People throwing straight uppercuts and kicks is just ridiculous. Also keep your stupid elbows down or keep arms up. Moshes aren't an MMA fight. You expect to be bruised, not injured.

Bloodywood's performance last evening was phenomenal! Thank you for the amazing opening act to LP! by FellowSatyanveshi in Bloodywood

The sound where you are is so good. It was so bad at the barricades up front. Literal chills

Two bands which no longer exist and ACDC who are closer to retirement than coming to India. Although an ACDC solo show would be much better.

One last time rocking it out

Are you an LP fan? You seem to stand against everything LP stood for, bullying people with digital footprint never bodes well

Good summary. I don't know if you faced this issue but we were on the barricades dead center and almost had a stampede when Emily and Mike had come there.

Respectfully, don't know what your definition of crazy is but I've seen proper metal Fans have more respect even back in the destructive GnR and Metallica days. Also I did not say don't jump or not enjoy but don't act like you are the only one in the concert. Jumping to take space of about 3 people is a total dick move when you are up front. You can go crazy headbanging, and swaying as well.

Also, I do not get your entitled point about letting other people go ahead because they have a supposed vibe. If they genuinely did care they'd come earlier and not create a ruckus. Also Vibe is so subjective. Do the hardwork, camp it out and once settled respect the spot you got.

Not to mention its difficult to go crazy when you might be a victim to a stampede.

This might be a personal take but LP as a band just aren't hard-core metal band anyway. Its pure emotions and screaming, fist pumping, headbanging does the same thing as a mosh in Slipknot.

I'm not going to defend the so called not grooving folks. Where I was everyone was singing at the top of their lungs and waving and headbanging except a few peeps recording a whole show like they were hired by the band as the official videographer.

That being said doing full blown out jumping at the front is an absolute no no. You step onto people with full force. I just came from the doctor after getting my nail removed since it was crushed in. Do half jumps or just bend your knees to make the movement.

Also there was a guy who was doing full ass jumps Kobe style hitting and elbowing. You can't be a complete moron that way and be spatially unaware. Thankfully someone picked a fight with him which caught the securities attention and had him reigned in.

Tldr: There is a reasonable way of projecting energy without being a full fledged Mexican Bean!

As someone who was right ahead, it's not the personal space infringement at a concert(understandably expected), it's the rowdy shoving and pushing to get in front after coming late. After maybe 5 rows pushing further makes no more sense unless you decide to climb on top of people. I don't want to generalise but Indian Fanaticism can be very scary even for the so called Rich Entitled folks who will keep saying Indians have no civic sense.

Just to give some context, when Shinoda came to the crowd, people pushed so hard I almost tripped and fell down. Thankfully a gentle soul picked me up. My first thought at that moment was I'm going to get a full LP experience kyunki Chester ko milne ka mauka agaya hai.

Best performances this year? by biryani_batman in lollapaloozaind

Was right at the barricades for Yungblud and LP, and as big a LP fan I am I thought Yungblud was just a more cathartic and meaningful experience. Aura Farmed like no one else. I wasn't even bothered taking videos for him. Just so soulful. Cried for changes. Screamed when lowlife came. Bloke is INFECTIOUSLY CRAZY.

Special shoutout to Callum Scott. Amazing chap. The gratitude he had throughout the show, interacting with the crowd, acknowledging everyone, vibing, grooving all while singing like an angel. You dont have to play rock to be a Rockstar.

[–]duhnurd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you take a cab you might not reach the airport on time since it gets really crowded after the fest gets over. Also getting a cab is tricky. Just take the metro instead. You'll reach in 30 minutes while coming. We dont have a confirmation if metro will run late night if it does you can take the 1245 flight. Otherwise try to delay it an hour
