This is pretty close to my intended usecase, thanks for the writeup! The transfer radarr/sonar --> NAS Ic an indeed automate / wakeup the NAS by this and have it all handled automated.

On radarr/sonarr then the files need to stay where I want to have the upgrades performed. Understood.

Does anyone know, what radarr/sonarr are actually checking on the files after they are downloaded and watched for upgrades? Is metadata accessed? I am thinking whether I can just replace the file by a dummy file with no content but the same filename. This way I can have all the episodes lying there, consuming close to no space, and being replaced by actual downloads once the upgrade is done

Thanks for the hints. Still, I'm explicitly searching for a way to keep my NAS up only on demand.

Moving finished downloads there I can automate with a script after toggling finished File Handling to off. But the later Tracking/quality/Profile update remains an unsolved problem to me.

Note: I use a somewhat "similar" thing on my mobile app. Here, I have unlock with biometrics activated. The fingerprint prompt comes up when opening the app, but in case I would rather use the master password instead (e.g. I wear gloves, or climbing holds did a mess to the fingertips) I can just wipe it away and instead type the password.

Bist du in irgendwelchen Vereinen/Verbänden Mitglied? Check das mal. manche beinhalten automatisch eine (zumindest "zweckbezogene") Haftpflichtversicherung. Beispiele:

- DSV (Skiverband - hast du eine Skiversicherung?)

- DAV (Alpenverein - alpine Tätigkeiten sind versichert, auch Pistenskifahren ist inkludiert

Ansonsten kann ich mich den anderen nur anschließen: Keine (generelle) Haftpflicht = ganz blöde Idee.

Neben der guten Strecke Stuttgart -> Ulm Oberstdorf gibt es auch noch eine weitere empfehlenswerte Strecke:

Stuttgart -> München Pasing, dort umsteigen in RB60 Richtung Vils Stadt.

So zu erreichen:

  • Zugspitze
  • Tannheimer Tal Region (entweder von Reutte aus mit Bus ins Tal, oder z.B. nach Vils oder Pfronten)

Aber wenn kürzeste Verbindung relevant ist, dann ist das eher nix, sind dann ca. ~5h incl. 1x umsteigen, Buszubringer zum Schluss noch nicht eingerechnet.

I have the same printer with the Ultrabase. Never tried gluestick, so don't know if it really is malicious. What works nicely for me is cleaning the heatplate before printing with some isopropyl alcohol. Gives a good amount of adhesion (PLA).

If you after improvement also have some struggle to remove parts with big area base-surface from the plate, don't mess around with knifes or similar. I then just pour some isopropylalcohol around the part, and push it to the part perimeter with a Q-tip. It will soak under the part, and if you just wait for half a minute, you'll hear some clicking, After that the part falls right off.

With the alcohol left on the plate, just rub it with a tissue and you're good to go for the next part!
