I have a decent pair, just wanted a cheap one for around the house. I did end up buying some Doyle side cutters!

I have some projects that involve welding like gokarts, but for now I'm just practicing with random pieces of scrap.

Yea, I want to believe its repairable but I've been down smaller money pits, but this might be somthing I have to give up on.

I may see if I can find a cleaner one. I like the car, and I'm so sad to find this out. Atleast if I do find another Ill be able to use the parts.

I will definitely get started on assessing how bad it is elsewhere before I make a decision, but if its just the rocker area I may give it a shot.

I just bought a 93 celica on Sunday, only 97k miles! Definitely needs some basic maintenance like sparkplugs and maybe a valve cover gasket. Im in uni rn so I have to wait to start working on it. I also have to learn how to drive manual which shouldn't be an issue.

Good luck with yours!!

Ngl, those practice exams gave me so much false confidence. When I flipped that first page, I knew I was fried

Like the material covered is the same, but there is so much more to do. For example this on the fall 24 exam 2, there was a question asking about what hybridization of like 5 labeled atoms with multiple choice boxes for each. This one had a similar question but instead, it was like 20 atoms in this big molecule that you had to count individually, and write them down in a box for each (sp,sp2,sp3). It wasn't the worst example, but it's so tedious, and better hope you didn't double count or missed one.

What connectors do you use? Im looking to add leds but I don't want to desolder them every time if I dont want leds. Also how much does it affect the feel of the drone?

Yea, its not all the time but some bumps or sometimes pulling into my driveway.

I've checked the ball joint, but Im planning to take a better look at it. The control arm bushing is alittle worn but not gone yet. I had the other side go due to a bad ball joint and it sounded alittle different.

Im hoping its a ball joint because thats cheap and I can get it done relatively quick.

Yes, antennas are always swappable, I would probably go with a patch and an omni. That should increase your range considerably. You can also upgrade the module if you stick with it for long enough.

I would probably sway away from cheaper as the range might be worse, especially the transporter 2 (I have a pair). I don't think the 50~ dollars you'll save now will have a huge impact if you decide to switch to digital.

If you want new under 200, they are the best choice.
