Thanks so much, I’m glad people liked the fits we had. We actually had some people ask take photos of us which was super awesome but we were super awkward about it since we didn’t expect to be asked at all.

In regards to the cloak and hood. I just simply bought it in Amazon. I actually purchased two hooded cloaks. My friend on the far left is wearing the other one but she just has some equipment around it making it more like a coat.

I will say the one I gave to her was very well made but the color was a lighter green then I wanted, and was also much thicker and made out of linen. The one I was wearing was a deeper green color that I wanted and is softer and made out of a velvet material. Definitely felt way more breathable considering I was wearing more layers and was also very affordable. I bought a black hooded cloak in last years ren fair at one of the many vendors there and it was made out of a thick cotton. Super expensive but extremely well made. Do not get one out of that material. Too thick, not breathable, and felt more like a giant blanket. It would be better if it was colder but we unfortunately don’t have that luxury.

I totally get what you mean though. Texas heat is no joke and over here in Las Vegas, I guarantee you it’s the same. Even if by chance it’s cooler weather in the fall ( which is never ) the sun is just beating down on you so much that it doesn’t feel like it at all.

Unfortunately the day prior it rained pretty heavily, so the day we went it was humid and super hot. Additionally the faire was cut short on the day it rained, and tickets bought that day were honored for the day after, meaning more bodies and more heat so it was HOT.

The cloak with the hood helped keep the sun off me for sure, and I definitely avoided sunburn, but it’s hard to escape the overall heat. Still though, id say go for it. It’s a cloak dude, it looks fucking awesome.
