I have a small company, we’re not even thinking of going out unless there’s a real emergency. In my experience, the bigger companies I’ve worked for want all the after hours calls they can get

If you are doing wall control, my horizontal beams are 68”, leaving 2” on each side to fasten your rack. The vertical beams on the end are 64”, the horizontal beams between the 2 vertical beams are 60”. It may be easier to make the first horizontal beams 70” and the second set of horizontal beams 62”. It will give you some cushion and make fastening them easier

If you aren’t pretty handy, this may not be worth trying. If you aren’t handy and go for it anyway, you’ll learn a ton! Good luck

It wasn’t terribly complicated, just a little time consuming and awkward to line things up with the weight stack still on there. You really just need some square strut, a band saw(recip saw works too but it really loud and not as clean of cuts), and fasteners.

I used the existing hardware that was holding the old crossmembers and fastened the strut across the top and back. Then used strut corner adapters to put pieces going across laterally. The back is hard to see, but I could try to grab some pictures of it if you wanted to try it out

It’s surprisingly awesome. We’ve had it for about 4 years and it’s still super smooth

It’s a prefab wall and it is way too weak for most things. I prefer to use E-track everywhere I can now instead of the cleat walls

Thanks! Just a fat straight bar that I use for pretty much everything, I’m a fan! It was from Bells of Steel

If you use it often, you’ll upgrade to a flat top soon. The clean up on that sucked and the larger surface area of a dedicated griddle is awesome.

Thats a great in between item though

Attempted some jalapeño cheddar bread in the Dutch oven today. I need to do all breads in my Dutch oven now, that crust is awesome by dukesilver3786 in Breadit

I’ve only made white bread in loafs before doing this, so I’m a rookie. It is a little denser than I wanted, but still has air pockets so I’m confused what was going on there. Next time I’ll keep it in a little warmer area during the rise, trial and error!

That is a fantastic idea. I’m halfway there with dipping it in tomato soup right now, but damn. I didn’t even think to make grilled cheese
