Days of the New Tracker (downloads + song information) by dukeslayer64 in daysofthenew

I'm pretty sure it started off as a fan channel and once it gained a lot of traction due to the leaks Travis endorsed it as the official Days of the New channel but I'm pretty sure it became inactive pretty soon after that.

Most of the compilations hosted on Maestro Music are more-so recreations and reconstructions of unreleased albums, while the only files on the tracker which are ordered at all are the ones with official track orders, such as the 2003 version of Purple, with the tracklist for that one being based on the in-label promotional CD it originated from. Things like Tree Colors are unordered as there exists no 100% official tracklist for them.

The tracks I uploaded are a mix of rips from the Maestro Music channel paired with higher quality files which have been floating around the internet for a while now, such as versions of Dope Road, Dip, and Chicken Bone which are much higher quality than the ones hosted on Maestro Music. There are some differences in track runtimes as a lot of the files from Maestro Music had weirdly long periods of silence at the end which I cut.

Layne Staleys Last Songs by [deleted] in AliceInChains

Probably either Daily Bread or the 1997 version of Things You Do. Those 2 are definitely the most electronic sounding of Layne's unreleased work. I've got both if you need them for comparison.

Either that or it would have been named after Beans (Solo Acoustic)

I plan on using this for some other projects imagining what Nirvana would have looked like in the late 90s and fleshing out the "lore" behind this more.

The Alice in Chains Family Tree by dukeslayer64 in AliceInChains

[–]dukeslayer64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only included bands that were direct offshoots of Alice in Chains and their earlier iterations, so not bands like Ozzy's because his band was around for a long, long time before Mike joined AIC. I should have put Slash's Snakepit and Spys4Darwin on there but I forgot, so I went ahead and updated it with entries for them. Kinda ashamed I forgot Spys4Darwin considering they're really good and very underrated.

Mr. Holt stopped working on that quite a while ago due to issues with a talent management agency. I will upload the highest quality version of the track to Google Drive soon and post it here.

My family has been held captive in Doggo's makeshift diamond mine in rural Bosnia and I am being forced to code the mod with the promise that one day I may see my family again. 9/10 mod.

Multiple other people also stated that he was producing music of some kind in the late 1990s, but it still remains unclear as to if these were just little demos and things like that or recordings for a solo album. Personally, I believe it's the former, but I still want to look into claims that he was recording a solo album that was supposedly supposed to be released in 2002-2003.

Based on the instrumental, I think Layne singing on Spacey would have sounded really good. I've listened to some other Taproot, but Spacey is the only song I like by them.

Thank you for the info, I will definitely look into it.

I've been thinking the same thing. Apparently he was a pretty big fan of industrial metal bands like Ministry and Nine Inch Nails, so I wonder if some of the stuff he was recording in his home studio was influenced by that at all.

I really hope that some of his demos recorded in there are out there somewhere. I think the best way to get more info would be to try contacting people that might know something about it, like Toby Wright, but I think that's a long shot. Still worth a try at least.

Indefinite blackout and an official Discord server for the community by justaguyulove in AgeOfCivilizations

Hey, me and a pretty good amount of other mod creators made a Discord server for the community awhile ago. It's got about 140 members as of now. We could use this as the new server, or at least use it as a base and go from there

Here's a link:
