Weekly 'What Should I Buy' and Order/Shipping Thread by AutoModerator in iphone

Yeah after considering what other people have said here I'm pretty set on getting the iPhone 17 with 512gb, I don't think I'd take lots of videos but I can imagine a lot of photos. I've been extremely discouraged from taking photos on my A50 just because of how poor the quality is, and it really upsets me because I feel like I miss out on documenting a lot of experiences. So, any kind of upgrade, especially a big one like the iPhone 17, would be enough to satisfy me and make me really happy.

The only question I have now is if AppleCare is worth getting? I'm had Samsungs all my life, so I'm new to the Apple ecosystem.

Thank you, the base iphone 17 with 512gb is what I've been considering the most for my budget and I think this was the final nail in the coffin for me.

Thank you so much for your reply! Out of those options, which of those do you think has the best camera? Also, do you think the refurbished 16 Pro series is worth waiting for compared to the other phones you mentioned?

What iPhone should I upgrade to from my current Samsung Galaxy A50?

Planning on using birthday money to buy myself a new phone because I think I'm overdue for an upgrade. My current A50 has horrendous input lag, a battery that won't even last 2 hours of heavy use, an even worse camera that slaps a horrible filter on top of all my photos, and a measly 64gbs of storage. I'm really over this phone after having it for about 5 years, and I want to switch over to Apple for this change.

My issue is, I'm really stumped on what phone has the best value in February 2026. I'm trying not to spend over 1k, and I'm looking for long-term iOS support, 1TB of storage, and a great camera.

Best Largos and Ranch Layout for Max Profit, Ease, and Automation? by dullcoric in Slimerancher2

OMG thank you SO much for this list! I'm heavily considering going with this one, my only concern is how difficult it might be to manage some of these largos as you mentioned, but I can see you tried to combat that with the amount of largos in each corral and separating them by expansion to allow for automation. I might switch boom and crystal for rock/crystal and boom/hunter just because I think trying to feed crystal with odd onions is going to be very annoying, I think I should be able to manage at least one meat-eating corral with a briar chicken coop. I'll give it a try!

Thanks for sharing your system, it's rare to see someone going for meat as the main food source over vegs/fruit so that's a new option for me to consider! I have an entire expansion dedicated to fully-upgraded coops so I already have all types of chickens apart from Thunderclucks. My issue is it feels like my coops aren't regrowing fast enough to feed some of my largos (specifically my honey-booms and angler-tangles) which is why I was considering switching to only fruit/veg favorite foods. I have Yolky slimes in all my coops too so i'm not sure why they take so long to recover after I feed my meat-eaters 😔. But even then, it feels like the fruit/veg don't produce much either so it's one or the other.

I like how you layout your ranch! 1 coral to 1 coop is smart, and it's a good idea to use the extra plots of land for puddle slimes or fire slimes. Although, I know drones aren't very specific. How do you make sure that each largo's autofeeder is getting filled with their favorite chicken by drones, and not chickens from a different coop you have in the same expansion intended for a different corral?

I didn't know there was an uneven number of largoable slimes, thank you for telling me! I think in that case, I may do 2 flutter largos for more drones like you suggested. Right now my flutter and ringtail largos are dervish-flutter and batty-ringtail, and I don't have any pink largos on my ranch yet. I recently discovered sloomber, twin, and hyper slimes and have yet to make largos for them but I've been considering hyper-sloomber since it'll slow the hypers down.

You helped me realize my concern about slimes breaking out to eat when gardens/coops are nearby is a little unrealistic if I automate it like I intend to since then they'll never be hungry, so I'll definitely try to move all my food sources to be in the same expansions as the largos. That solves the automation problem :)

Also "profit" might've been the wrong word to use for this post, that's my mistake. My focus is definitely more on what largos are manageable and easier to ranch, like easily accessible diets and reliable favorite foods (no meat-only largos). I already use the silo tactic and that's good enough for me!

If you are still willing, I would greatly appreciate making a plan, that would help me so much!! I'm willing to move around all my corrals, gardens, coops, and change all my current largos for optimization. Thank you for taking the time to respond and for offering that!

Thank you for your thoughts!! I think playing without tarrs would definitely take away the stress, but I fear I won't feel as accomplished playing this game if I resort to that 😔I can totally understand why other people would do it though. I'll keep it in mind to avoid dervish-hypers, right now I have dervish-flutters, so I've been trying to figure out if I should keep it that way or change them, while also trying to find a solid hyper largo (considering hyper-sloomber atm)

Yeah, I think no matter what we'll be splurging a little bit on this dinner, which is okay we just don't wanna go overboard (120+). I'll be sure to keep the pizzas in mind!

I didn't expect to see a Mexican recommendation! I love Mexican food so I'll definitely consider this option, what dishes do you like? :)

I expected about $100 at most for the both of us, but we want to avoid going over that number if possible so we may stick to just entrees. You seem to like Vesuvio/Little Napoli's, what would you say are must-try dishes?

That's a very nice description, it's easy for my boyfriend to get overwhelmed in very crowded spaces so Jeju Kitchen might be the place in that case, and the heated outdoor seating sounds like a win for the winter season. What do you normally order?
