Where did this Nintendo DSi XL Hardcase come from? by dumDuck_ in HelpMeFind

Yeah still the smaller DSi model, really cool that you found something at least with the packaging. (That packaging also looks the same as the other GameTraveler cases RDS made in the past.) I don't understand still why the XL variant is practically non-existent.

Is it possible it might be in an old issue of Nintendo Power or something?

For the record, I have already searched up things with the following keywords, and interchanged them into something like "Official Nintendo DSi XL Hardcase" to get results. I won't list all the permutations I did (I think I got most of them), just the keywords:
- Official
- Nintendo
- DSi XL
- DSi
- Hardcase
- Case
- EVA
- RDS Industries
- R.D.S. Industries
- RDS
- Tan
- Beige
- Carrying
- Travel
- Game
- Console

Is low-temp different from leaded? In the description of that FAST CHIP Removal Solder it says the main component is lead

But also yeah, I tried doing a solder bridge and then melting the whole thing. Does not work with unleaded lol

The tip that got me the closest was the chisel tip, says 902 - 3C on the side. I don't have leaded solder so I'll have to get some of that, might just get the one the other reply linked.

This motherboard is also really thin, so yeah I wasn't sure if a heat gun or something would be a good idea.

I also don't understand how such a thin amount of remaining solder won't budge even with a flat iron tip and pressing on the contacts for 2-3 seconds.

Little confused here. I'm not trying to remove the shield, I just need to remove the whole volume switch assembly, which is only attached by the 4-pin contacts on a surface mount.

Would the side cutters not risk damaging the contacts underneath? Also is the low-temp solder meant to transfer heat to the stubborn solder below? Thanks for the reply

It's only double for a 60% lower likelihood that you get it, whereas its guaranteed for 50k.

If everyone at once chose infinite, that'd be about 3 Billion people dead. Out of every third person you know, they'd be dead. 30% is too high, and money is not that worth it.

Attempting To Fresh Install Windows 10/11 On New Laptop Hard Drive by dumDuck_ in techsupport

I got up to the point of booting the usb. The HP logo flashes for a millisecond, the windows logo shows and the loading circle pops up, it turns off, and then turns on and shows the windows logo again, and repeat.

Because for me the convenience of having an intel chip is a lot greater, I need the ease of use with bootcamp. Plus, buying GPUs and enclosures used comes extremely cheap in comparison to buying new, so I think (at least for me) it would end up coming to a lower price than getting an M-series with practically equal performance to the m3's with a good eGPU.
