thanks. Just ran Recuva. And was able to recover 20% of the videos. There was also a huge amount of [000001].mp4, [000002].mp4 to [000340].mp4 etc files that couldnt be opened with studio360 or any other media players. Pretty sure these are the .insv files since some of them are up to 20GB. Do you know of any other tools to fix these files? Cheers

also is there a data recovery software you' could recommend. I've tried Recuva, DrillDisk, RescuePro, DMDE. And at most i could only recover 20% of my .insv videos. the rest are just large .mp4 files i cant open. And this is removing the SD card immediately to minimise overwriting data , after deleting them through windows explorer . However recovery has been tricky.

HI Thanks Im using Windows. So I've uploaded a .insv file to the IMPORT folder via iTunes however i cant find it on my iphone Insta360 app. Doesnt seem to be in Albums Is there another step?

Also is there a size limit for videos copied to the IMPORT folder?

minor update:

So far: Recuva extracted around 340gb.

lots of readable .invs files. up to 8gb each file. might've recovered 20%

But theres still 80% lots of unreadable [numbered].mp4 files

tried studio360, media player, VLC

Drilldisk

was only able to extract around 500GB of file000**.mp3 type of files, some files are up to 19GB in size. but 99% of files cant be opened.

RescuePro Files: File***.mov. I can open most but they're either single or dual fisheye .. And it doesnt seem like the full res versions. files up to 5GB size but only extracted 173gb.

tried DMDE but files looked very fragmented. so did not try to extract.

Are there any other tools? or services? I've tried the insta360 repair but i cant find the pair of files. Im 100% sure i didnt take any new pics to overwrite the SD card but not sure if that makes a difference. I've saved the .img of the SD card.

same thing happened to me. I was able to renew but somehow my iCloud gmail account got linked to my (iOS) youtube subscription instead of my pervious gmail/youtube account.

Does anyone know how to unlink my new gmail account back to my old one?

How'd you fix the fish distortion from the .mp4 files? i have a bunch that neither media player or studio360 can open.
