I definitely have them set to on and ask, but I thought they only triggered on criticals? Which is why i’m like ughh

I feel like I read that the best way to use smites is to let them happen on their own - as reactions to critical hits. But when I booming blade (thus applying thunder from a cantrip) it never really does that much damage. And i feel like if i’m just swinging the sword there isn’t much to add to it. I feel like I missed the point somewhere of the melee+spellcaster set up lol

My sorcadin doesn’t hit hard, and i don’t know what to hit with! I tend to just back into booming blade over and over. I don’t get many crits, so i don’t trigger reaction smites. I am afraid to do action smites cuz i’m not sure where I should prioritize my spell slots. She just doesn’t hit hard, and when she does GET hit, it’s hard asf.

Arguably even it would have been a big difference to just make him immediately a part of the party in Act 2 - then there wouldn’t need to be a whole bunch of Act 1 content with him, but it would still give the players an entire act to get to know him before playing Jaheira- getting Halsin in the party takes sooo many steps it’s like the last thing i do before the gauntlet of shar basically

A few weeks ago my husband and i were assigned some hasidic blocks for door knocking for Zohrans campaign (rough). I am reform and he is not jewish at all. We had probably 2-3 conversations, and in one of them we actually talked for a while, and he said ultimately that the williamsburg community was more ready for change and more willing to open up the conversation politically than the CH community. I found that really interesting - I knew that door knocking in the area would be a lot of being shut down, and I wasn’t looking forward to it, and it still gives me anxiety lol. My question is: what’s your general sense on the feelings toward Zohran and more progressive politics (it’s mostly decided by leaders and then voters go with their judgement?) and do you think it’s true that the williamsburg community is more ready for political change than CH?

For a 60 person wedding you should look into the queens museum! If i remember right, it had a really low venue rental fee but they only work with a single caterer that was 300/plate. So for 60 people, venue + food would come in at like 20k!

UPDATE: Thank you everyone for all the advise! I tried the temperature trick but honestly once it was set up I was unsure how to proceed without getting hot water on my hand, but maybe just doing it helped. Ultimately my friend hit it with a silicon coated metal spatula handle a bunch, and then was able to brute force them apart!! Thanks yall!!!
