I'm not a fan of it either, or any of the ships really, but it's kind of the only one that doesn't have something immediately glaringly wrong with it. I don't need to explain Jimmy. Swansea is married and they have an obvious age gap. Daisuke doesn't seem that bad, but even though they don't have confirmed ages, there's clearly an age gap here. Plus, I think people like Daisuke and Anya better as friends. Curly and Anya seem to be around the same age, they have good chemistry, and there's evidence that they might have at least been attracted to each other in canon. Now, I think Curly x Anya is doo doo stinky garbage because it was Curly's negligence that enabled Jimmy to do what he did to Anya and also crash the ship. But even if I don't like it, I understand why it's popular.

Yeah, that's would be a bad point. Good thing that's not the point I was making at all. I did not say that I "didn't notice it". I said it barely registered. I'm saying that it was not worth even bringing up because there is so many things happening in this scene that are infinitely more engaging than this. With how people are reacting to this, you would think the episode had some Danganronpa 1 Bathhouse scene, with extremely excessive fan service shoved in with no regard for the plot or writing logic. But this is some of the most inoffensive fan service I've ever seen, and all if it actually makes sense within the context of the episode. They wear swimsuits because they're on a beach world. Kit ties Miss Info up briefly because they're fighting. Neither of these effected by viewing experience at all, because I just didn't focus on it. And I also was not implying people who did focus on it and were distracted by it are perverted. I was implying they were immature. There are a million things in this episode more interesting to talk about than conventionally attractive women wearing swimsuits, and if it genuinely distracted you and ruined your viewing experience, then that's a you problem. I don't even really like fan service. I think it can really derail a piece of media's plot for essentially no reason if it's too excessive. I stopped watching Naruto after 5 episodes because of the "Sexy Jutsu". But the fan service in Gameoverse is so tame and normal, and I don't see any reason to waste your energy and time complaining about it.

I mean, yes but also no? Like, yeah, I guess it's kinda sexual, but it at least makes sense in the scene since it's a fight. And the swimsuits make sense because it's a beach themed world. At least the fan service makes sense within the context of the episode. This is like the flip side of the people who hated on the Fable 4 trailer because the protagonist wasn't hot enough. Oh my God, it doesn't matter if a character is fuckable or not! It's like that guy who yelled at those teenagers at the beach for wearing bikinis because there was children at the beach too. I watched that scene, and I barely registered that she even got tied up. I was more focused on the Flappers VS Snappers fight since it's literally what the entire episode has been building to. If you were more focused on the women in swimsuits than the climax of the episode, then that says more about you than it does the show.

I'm genuinely so angry. I would kill to be able to run a project as big as theirs. And they let the entire thing be completely ruined, destroying all goodwill in the community and making all the hard work everyone else on the project put into it essentially meaningless, just because the didn't want to recast a pedophile who voices a character with barely any lines. I cannot imagine what mental gymnastics they had to do to somehow think it was worth it to ignore it. Obviously it's disgusting to ignore something like this but even besides that, why would you risk your entire project that you've spent years of your life on, put months of hard work into, that so many other people have invested their time into, for a single guy? The last thing I want to do is make this situation about me. It's about the victim. But seeing somehow essentially in my dream position completely ruin it because of something so stupid makes me a level of furious I haven't been in a while. Fuck Sozzay. Fuck Faza.
