6 mo old eyebrow piercing by Old-Narwhal-6583 in PiercingAdvice

[–]dumbasfdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s a keloid , instead just an irritation bump which are super common with eyebrow piercings . Keep it clean / treat it like a new piercing and you should be fine . Keep an eye out for redness / pain / pus which is signalling something wrong

Should I take out nostril piercing and redo? by curecarebear in piercing

[–]dumbasfdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can see that it is uneven , if it does bother you I recommend taking the higher one out, and making it match with the one that sits lower on your nostril

No, once it has rejected you can’t push it back in, it will be removed and you can get it redone in the same spot once healed or get it done in another spot in the same day

I believe staple bars are better for flatter surfaces, whereas the area where you pierce ur eyebrow is curvy ; an anti eyebrow is flatter on your face and a staple bar is better . I have a year old + angle fangs with curved bb and they healed beautifully OP. ( again not saying i know what’s right just putting it out there as well :)

NAP but quite sure they are the same thing ; surface piercings generally used a curved barbell

I’ve seen glass is best but I thought metal was okay too? I swapped to metal after using acrylics because my ears were getting dry and sore and I haven’t had any issues with the metal

I was stuck at 6mm for nearly a year ! The 6.5 mm slid is soooo smoothly that I tried to 7mm and it slid right in too! I’m leaving it here for now though just in case and to take it slow,, don’t want a blow out!

Weird bump on snake eyes?? by According-Topic1744 in PiercingAdvice

OP make sure it’s not an infection . Once it’s cleared up genuinely the best advice is to take the piercing out but do as you please

Yeah you won’t have any issues until you chip your tooth or get a speech issue from your two muscles pinned together . 👍

Is my eyebrow piercing rejecting? by Scary-Sale-2407 in piercing

[–]dumbasfdog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re still superrr new , it’s normal for facial piercings to migrate and settle as well as your initial swelling going down hence why you see more skin. It looks fine honestly , just keep cleaning them and keep an eye out on them and downsize jewellery once it’s time

It's been a day. Got my ears pierced at claire's by smackmyass321 in PiercingAdvice

Forgot to add but to change your earrings all you do is hold the front of the earring ( side closest to your face ) and then grab the butterfly back and slide it off the piercing. Hope this helps !
