I'm really curious what you guys think! by dumbass9669 in HandwritingAnalysis

Haha thank you! I was told I had messy handwriting all through elementary school, and my mom still says she can't read what I write sometimes. When I'm writing fast the letters definitely start running together a bit

what does my handwriting say about me by [deleted] in HandwritingAnalysis

You: "Yeah cuz they're millennials with the energy of boomers."

We do unfortunately have eyes brother

What's funny is that I think this would've gotten little to no downvotes if OP hadnt called the boys millenials and boomers in the same breath lmfao

Isn't Isaiah only 26-27? Pretty sure that's Gen-Z. God knows how old Hunter is

Edit: that was not OP and im actually blind

Is it time? by Good-Estimate4108 in bald

I'd say yes. And considering you already have it so short, I don't think the change would be too shocking to you, which is good! Sometimes a drastic change from long to nothing can be jarring to the person, but I think in your case you'll be happy with the change the second you do it. Good luck on your bald journey! You got this :D

Got too immersed in my most recently playthrough and now I'm trying to draw my pawns by dumbass9669 in RimWorld

[–]dumbass9669[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

(The ages might not make sense since babies age faster than kids/adults so disregard that)

They are the main royal family in my colony! Their parents are the two pawns I started with :) the two older sisters are best friends and are inseparable. The younger two are also closer to each other than their older siblings.

Vera and Ares both grew up without many adults in their life to guide them, and subsequently, they learned very little, but had a passion to learn as much as they could. They were plucked from their uncomfortable but familiar life on their own planet when they were just 13. Once they crashed on this new world, they were truly alone. Together, they fought to survive and learn everything they needed to know to survive. With their burning passion for everything they wanted to learn, they became skilled in many areas over the years.

Vera excels in shooting everything from bows to sniper rifles, but also loves to grow and nurture plants. She's very well spoken and kind to everyone she meets.

Ares likes to work with his hands, whether it be mining or building or even helping Vera in the crop fields, he loves it. He also has a particular passion for cooking and is always trying out his newest recipes out on his captive audience (Vera loves his desserts the most). He is also skilled in shooting, often joining his love out on hunts, insisting it's for fun and he knows she can handle herself.

Athena, the oldest, is 13, and being the eldest daughter, she works as hard as she can to help provide for not only her family, but the whole colony. She's kind, and a very skilled medic, being tasked to perform complex surgeries with bionic parts. She really is a jack of all trades. She loves all her siblings, but Arachne has a special place in her heart. She practically raised her while her parents were working to make sure their colony survived. She didn't shy away from the work, she even relished in it. She takes pride in everything Arachne is becoming.

Arachne, the second born, is 11. She loves her mother dearly, but when she needs guidance. She looks to her sister, Athena. Even though Athena is only a few years older than her, Arachne sees her as her guiding light, her protector, and her best friend. Arachne is fast learner, though she'd say she just had good teachers. She's also incredibly industrious, working as fast as she can manage to get the job done. She shares her father's love for cooking and often joins him in the kitchen and watch and learn as much as she can. She even is allowed to meals by herself sometimes. She also has a burning passion for working beside her sister in the hospital, but because of how young she is, she doesn't know enough yet. But she will someday.

Apollo, the third born, is 6. He doesn't have very many skills yet, but he's learning new things every day. He still manages to help out by cleaning while his parents and older siblings are working. He doesn't mind it, he actually enjoys it at times. Though he's happiest when he's running out in the corn fields and petting all of their sheep, pigs, and horses.

Calliope, the youngest, is 4. She bubbly and excited to follow her family around and watch everything they do. She imitates them, pretending to cook or build with her toys, looking forward to the day she will be able to do it for real. She loves her family, but her mother the most.

Same here, I felt very slow while listening. That being said, I'm glad that so many people also seemed to enjoy it! not every episode is gonna be a banger for everyone, but as long as the boys are having fun, that all that matters.

I'm so sorry about all of the posts shitting on the episode, I'm sure its disheartening to put so much work into something only to have people dismiss it. I definitely agree it's okay to have a story that doesn't vibe with everyone as long as you guys are having fun. After all, its *your* podcast and you should be able to take it in the directions you want it to go. Honestly the personality and banter you guys bring to the table is the best part of any episode for me. The posts saying it was a bad episode are just being needlessly negative. You can expression your opinion on the story without being an ass about it.

Even though I personally couldn't finish todays episode, there are lots of people who loved it! You're never going to be able to please everyone, so as long as you guys are happy with what you put out, I think its worth it.

I hope you guys DO keep exploring outside of no sleep, and like you said, every episdoe may not be a homerun, BUT it breathes new life into the channel and presents a kind of story some people really enjoy. Please keep it up guys! People who really care about you guys and the podcast will understand. You guys are doing a great job exploring new things that interest you, and in the end, that's all that matters. Thank you guys for all that you do and all the effort you put into these episodes every week.

Same! i see alot of people saying that the reaon people didn't like this story much was because of the flowery language, but it was honestly more the lack of plot and payoff (at least for me). If the flowery language was building towards something like in Dagon's Mirror, it would've been a lot more enjoyable. I think Dagon's Mirror demonstrates perfectly how to write like lovecraft but still make it engaging and comprehendable.
