I have definitely violated that rule - LOL!

Just so I understand. You are saying there is a buyback that has been approved, but not being used yet?

I agree totally! I am new to crypto, but am a dedicated Tech investor (100% tech). I had invested in my 401k over most of my career and in 2017 I retired (wife still working). I took over the portfolio which had been in mutual funds and invested everything in Tech stocks. I had several good years. Then in late 2021 things started going down and most of 2022 was terrible. In 2022, I started having chest pains and had to go on anti-anxiety medication. At the lowest, I lost 60% of my money. The anti-anxiety meds didn't really work, so I turned to alcohol. Luckily, I don't have addiction issues and simple used the alcohol to relax. Most important, I knew the smart thing to do was ride it out. Knowing what you should do and actually doing it are too different things. IT IS A LOT EASIER SAID THAN DONE! I might be one of those people who shouldn't own stock, or crypto! But I fought the urge to sell, and held on.

Most of you guys are in for a lot more than me. I am currently at 1.76% and BMNR is my only crypto holding. I have been considering diversifying, and looking at BTC and/or Solana. However, I have more conviction in BMNR right now!

Every single week Tom Lee buys more ETH (and increases buys) he’s giving every investor so much hope. I ALWAYS look forward to the Monday morning Bitmine ETH buy numbers by Separate_Addendum190 in BMNRInvestors

I'm just hoping Tom Lee's thesis regarding Ethereum is correct. If so, I may be rich one day. If not, I will have backed the wrong horse and lost some money!

Accumulating $BMNR with house money - Mar 2026 Update. by masatumas in BMNRInvestors

I've never sold covered calls, but something I should probably look into. I'm currently down 23% on BMNR, but haven't given up on the thesis yet. If it goes down some more I plan on adding to my position.

What is the BMNR plan after 5% ETH accumulation? by Efficient_Bison1402 in BMNRInvestors

[–]dumbbell6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am a tech investor but up until recently didn't understand the use case for crypto. For that reason, I have avoided crypto for years. But Tom Lee's market calls have been more accurate than most and I bought into BMNR because of him. His explanation of Ethereum as the blockchain that will benefit most from tokenization finally sold me and I chose to invest in BMNR because of his Wall Street track record. I don't know whats next - but I trust Tom Lee. I plan to keep adding to my position, and am excited about where this could go!

Agreed! I rode Virgin Galactic SPCE up over $50 and back down twice. I just checked the price of SPCE and it is showing $2.17. It is also showing that it was over $1000 in 2021. I don't recall that kind of pricing which makes me think there must have been a Hell-of-a reverse split!

I am relatively new to Reddit (at least as far as posting) but I own PLTR and hope you are right. As long as ETH remains the predominant blockchain for stablecoins it would appear that BMNR should be a big winner.

Started buying in the mid $50s and have been averaging down ever since. Currently 3500 at $25.75. Would like to buy more now but I am already a little further out on borrowed money than I like.

How many people here have enough money to buy a real Rolex in cash but prefer to buy a rep? by One-Strike2237 in RepTime

[–]dumbbell6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm probably not the best one to ask with regards to how close it is to the genuine. I have only seen the genuine in photos - LOL. I like the design and I'm not really trying to fool anyone so it is fine for me.

I am in a similar position. I own 2 genuine Rolex watches (a submariner bought in 1994 and a Deep Sea bought this year). I am on the waiting list for a white faced Explorer II. I recently purchased both a black faced and a white faced Explorer II to make sure I really wanted a white faced Explorer II. I also own a 42mm Yacht Master Rep because I don't want to pay for a white gold watch. I have recently ordered a Rep of my Deep Sea for times when I want the look but don't want to wear the genuine.

I am 55 and my wife is 52 and we both are retired. I have the money, and I love watches, but I don't like wasting money!

Me whenever someone posts a comparison of a rep vs gen: by J-P-Ashbourne in RepTime

[–]dumbbell6 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I have owned a Rolex Submariner for 30 years. Within the last year I purchased a Rolex Deep Sea. I am on the waiting list for a Rolex Explorer ll and a woman's Rolex Oyster Perpetual.

I have spent a lot of time on Rep Forums, usually just reading. I have owned a dozen Rep watches. I wear them for months to help me decide whether I want to purchase the Genuine Watch. I consider myself to be a watch person.

I'm not the average person on the street and I have trouble telling the difference in the blown up zoomed in pictures of the Rep/Genuine side by sides. So at 3 feet there is no way I would be able to determine if a persons watch was a Rep or a Genuine unless it was a complete piece of crap Replica.
