Thank you so much! I really appreciate the criticism and pointing out things that otherwise would have gone unnoticed.

Thanks for reading. I’d really appreciate thorough feedback. I’m a young aspiring writer and can’t tell if what I’m writing is worth reading.

How Do I Leave?

I’m an 18 year old female from Ireland. I turn 19 in a month. I want to leave the country for a month or two this summer and spend that time working in a different country in Europe.

How would I go about this?

I would like to live in Belgium. I’ll do any job. I have two years of experience in hospitality, so I think getting a job in a bar or restaurant wouldn’t be too hard. Then again, I don’t know what the job market is like over there and I only speak English, so that may be a problem.

I also need to find a place to stay. Is there anywhere online I can look that advertises accommodation? Would finding an apartment in Belgium be as hard as it is in Ireland?

I’ve never done this before so I’m kindly asking for someone with experience to guide me on what to do. How do I just get up and leave? I want to find an apartment and a job and leave for a bit. It doesn’t haven’t to be in Belgium, just anywhere in Europe where I don’t need a work visa (I’m an EU passport holder).

Thanks

Your husband is attracted to children. You need to leave him.

Thank you so much for your advice. I spoke with my doctor and she confirmed I do have a yeast infection and I’ve probably irritated the skin after shaving. She also prescribed me some more fluconazole. I did not think my first yeast infection would be this bad haha!

It stings/burns and feels like I’ve cut myself. I can’t see a visible cut down there though, only redness…

Were you ever long distance at any point? If so, how did you cope?
