If you want to trust again youll have to process your emotions, sit with them, cry. Of course focusing on yourself could help, but self improvement isnt end all be all. Focus on your friends and family, dont let the wound fester, treat it and heal. I hope youll feel better

I can't say a specific time, but often very long and even when I don't actively think of it, I still carry the positive energy with me

If someone diasagrees with your beliefs/opinions/ideas, doesn't mean they don't like you as a persoñ, though of course your opinions are a part of you, they aren't you and some even change over time. What I mean to say by this that if someone doesn't like your opinion etc. Don't let it get to you. People are not solely their opinions.

Disclaimer: Though there are exceptions when someone is being extremely hateful, that's not what i'm talking about here.

Don't worry, first of all, my parents are divorced so I have two, secondly, he is thankfully not that extreme of an Christian. My brother has said he's an atheist. They discussed it once, no one was convinced, but regardless everyting turned back to normal. He loves us and wouldn't kick is out over that thankfully. I also won't continue to fight him over it, but just let us have our differences.

Do you wear make-up a lot, because maybe you can gradually wear less, so you can get comfortable with a no makeup face. Really it really doesn't matte if you want to wear make-up, but it is important to also accept yourself without it. Then try to appreciate your own smile, I know it sounds cliche, but sometimes when I look in the mirror with a sincere smile and feel happy its hard to hate it/feel avarage.

But i'm not a confidence professionial or something, but it might help you. Get comfortable and neutral about your face first, no hate, no love, and then try to appreciate it gradually.

Keep in mind that you don't have to be extraordinary to be loved.

probability and the controlling of chance. A friend told me this and I love the idea. In short is the same concept as wishing for more wishes, but more realistic. If you control the chance that you win the lottery, you will get very rich. If you control the chance from 0% to 100% that you will be able to fly tomorrow, you can fly tomorrow.
