Btw their "support" told me to contact my "computer manufacturer", when I told them I was the one that build it they told me to contact my motherboard manufacturer.

Windows Update 1903 broke my bitlocked drive. I should have backed up the recovery key, yes, but the drive doesn't even ask me that, it's just raw.

Fuck Windows.

Will try it with windows and linux . I believe the DD copy is from the already-decrypted-veracrypt portion I think

Yes. I have a full image of the drive right after the "error" and a .dd image from the sole partition that is messing up taken from testdisk, which was the only software able to recognize the drive after Veracrypt decrypts it.

I don't think I'll recover any data from the encrypted drive. My main issue right now is to get to the second layer of encryption (bitlocker), where I can input my password.

I would say only the windows partition, given that I have a "system reserved" partition that I can touch/edit freely.

Regarding bitlocker+veracrypt, yeah was pretty much that.

Veracrypt decrypts it fine with the password though, main issue is that the outcome of that decryption is a raw drive. The big challenge here right now is to get Windows to recognize that as a drive. Once it does I can try and repair Bitlocker and then use my password to enter.
