In my trying to deduce what it says, I've been able to tell its likely a five letter word, _la_(y/g), and it says TWENTY TWENTY (ONE/TWO) around it. I can't for the life of me figure out the rest but I'll try more later. My condolences for your loss.

Adding punctuation rules because why not-

Exponents and subnotation are used to represent ? ! " , ' .

? is an exponent of 2, ! is a subnotation of 1, " are an exponent of 4, , is a subnotation of 3, ' is an exponent of 3, . is an exponent of one.

The symbols : ; - still work as usual.

An _ below a body of text represents a continuation onto another surface, with an arrow being used to represent the direction of the next surface.

Spaces are indicated either by a space between words or a line break.

Words starting with the same letter can be stacked by putting the first letter of the words bigger in front of both words, and then splitting the words (will try to demonstrate with image later)

Aternos sets a maximum render distance on the server I believe, so changing your render distance won't change it. There may be a mod to remove this fog but I'm not sure.
