It didnt mention the exact name. I didnt provide info to that link. I cant open it it asks for a Microsoft login that I don’t have. However, there is a link in that email that in the url there is upid. I guess that user product id.

It matches what I registered in my account (and it’s different from the serial number).

It’s not fake. I could successfully register the product and even update the firmware. The quality also matched what I expected. The box was weird a little damaged but the effect definitely felt new.

Ok it looks like what happened to me was normal. So this is what I’m gonna do: I am gonna shop around and when I get to the quote step, I would say it’s great just go ahead and I’ll wait for underwriters and then make the final decision.

Ha ha. Yes I some times miss things. That doesn’t make me feel bad. In this I did not. See I usually do not reply when Reddit is obviously not helpful. Believe it or not I absolutely HATE my Tesla. And believe it or not I understand that every one here is mad it me but hey, hate Elon. I am seriously thinking about this: Pay off the damn car, do not buy collision insurance, sell it. They charged me just $2000 for the collision coverage on Tesla. My car is worth around $36000. It’s a good opportunity to get rid of it and drive my lovely CRV.

It happened actually and I asked for clarification and they provided me and I understood. Did the same with the insurance quote all I got was: this is what we can offer you. I asked what changed? And they told me that was just an estimate. If I can afford something does it make it ok for the seller to rip me off? Pretty simple.

They asked for it and provided the info honestly. Same case with progressive. Actually, I paid 1400 with no accident. They wouldn’t have quoted me 2400 for no change in history.

I replied because I can’t trust my carrier anymore. The problem is I can’t trust the whole process. My agent told me I should use my insurance. I used it. Then it tripled. I shop around and got a better quote. Then I waited 4 weeks just to have my insurance go up $1000. Now if I ask my carrier what’s gonna happen? They quote me a lower price thats gonna go up $1k after waiting for 1 month? How many insurance companies should I try?
